The MED Manager is the brainchild of Jan Goslee, RN, who cared for her ailing mother-in-law for more than 2 years. During that time, Jan developed this system so that whenever a doctor visit was scheduled, her mother-in-law’s complete medical history came along. Because her mother-in-law lived alone, Jan set up an emergency system that alerted EMS or other healthcare providers where to find this vital information if her mother-in-law could not provide these critical details; thus, The Medical Emergency Document (MED) Manager was created.
